R´dam First Sketch is the compilation of the artist´s impressions, experiences and feelings since she left her home
town and started her new “inmigrant condition” in Rotterdam City. It is the first presentation of a research and work in
process with no definitive form that lives on her personal daily routine, but also on the anarchic and unplanned experiences in the city.
Drawings on onionskin paper, objects found on the streets, photographs, short texts and light are used to map
everyday existence, combining the existing knowledge and designed image of the city with individual dailylife stories
and imaginary self spaces. New icons, references and memorials related to the artist´s movements around the streets
are sprung up from the structured city, and showed as a collage, making the spectator build his or her own relations
between the different items that compose the sketch.
