Site specific intervention on public space. Digital photography series.

Urban_DesignLab is a public intervention made on a selection of streets chosen from Madrid´s urban centre. 

The Project consists in recollecting different elements found on the street ground (thrown rubbish) later meticulously 

placed and classified by kinds, following the floor tile patterns. I´ve always been very interested in Public Art and 

Urban Design, therefore my critical attitude towards the contemporary city roles in both fields drive my work through 

this type of interventions, where temporality, the using of existing materials and the searching for hetereogenity and its 

consecuences when citizens use the space are my main concepts. 

This is a temporary intervention, the estimated duration can never be calculated, so it is filed in a photographic series.
